About the game
Putt Panic is a quick game of mini golf for two to four players where nobody picks up their ball. Every shot rolls onto the same green, and balls stay exactly where they stop. That turns a calm putt into a little battle: a rival’s ball might sit right in your line, and a well-aimed putt can bump it far away from the cup.
Each match deals three different holes from a set of layouts: a spinning windmill, a pond in the middle of the fairway, a dogleg, a zigzag and a long U-turn. Bounce off the walls and wooden posts, keep out of the sand and stay dry, because a splash puts you back where you were and costs a stroke. Roll over the cup too fast and the ball lips out.
The lowest total after three holes wins, and a 15-second shot clock keeps every turn short, so a match takes two or three minutes. Play against computer opponents on three difficulty levels, or pass one phone or tablet around the table.
How to play
- Drag back anywhere and release: the ball rolls the opposite way. A longer pull hits harder.
- Sink the ball in as few strokes as you can. Balls stay where they stop, so you can bump rivals away.
- Too fast over the cup and it lips out. Sand slows you down; water puts you back and costs a stroke.
- 3 holes, up to 6 strokes each (7 if you miss). Fewest total strokes wins.
Controls
- Computer
- Click and drag back, then release to putt. Or aim with ← →, hold Space and let go when the swinging power bar looks right.
- Phone & tablet
- Touch anywhere, pull back like a slingshot and let go.
Questions
How is Putt Panic different from regular mini golf?
Everyone plays on the same green and balls are never picked up between shots, so a rival’s ball can block your line or get knocked away from the cup. Every match also deals three different holes, such as a windmill, a pond or a dogleg.
Can I play with friends on one phone?
Yes. Pick "Same Device" and pass the phone, tablet or computer before each putt. Two to four people can play.
What happens if I can’t sink the ball?
Each hole allows up to six strokes. If your ball is still out after the sixth, you score 7 for that hole and wait for the next one. A 15-second shot clock keeps turns moving.
Is Putt Panic free?
Yes. It runs in your browser on desktop and mobile with no download or sign-up.
