About the game

Puck Clash is a pocket-sized cousin of curling, played with a flick. Pull back on your puck like a slingshot, let go, and watch it glide down a long sheet of ice toward the glowing target at the far end. Land in the rings to score: 3 points in the center, 2 in the middle ring and 1 on the outside. The single puck closest to the center earns a bonus 2.

Three steel posts stand guard in front of the target, so the straight line is rarely the best one. Bank off a post, curl around a blocker, or smash straight into the puck that is sitting on the button. Turns alternate puck by puck, and the last shot of every end can turn the whole score around.

Each player throws three pucks per end, and a match lasts three ends (four in a duel), usually two to three minutes. Face computer opponents on three difficulty levels or pass a single phone around with up to four friends.

How to play

  1. Drag back anywhere and release: your puck flies the opposite way. Longer pull = more power.
  2. Stop inside the rings for 3, 2 or 1 points. The puck closest to the center gets +2.
  3. Pucks that pass the back line or stop before the blue line are removed.
  4. Everyone throws 3 pucks per end. Highest total after the last end wins.

Questions

Is Puck Clash like curling?

It borrows the idea of sliding stones into a target, but the shots are quick slingshot flicks, three posts guard the rings and every puck in the rings scores, not just the closest ones.

Can I play with friends on one phone?

Yes. Pick "Same Device" and pass the phone, tablet or computer before each shot. Two to four people can play.

How do the computer opponents play?

They test many possible shots with the same physics you play with and pick the best one. Easy bots try few shots and miss often, while hard bots are precise and even place guard pucks.

Is Puck Clash free?

Yes. It runs in your browser on desktop and mobile with no download or sign-up.
